  • I've enjoyed the Golden Wei for 15 years, generally take out for dinner or simply for lunch in the restaurant. It's a small Chinese restaurant located in a plaza on the West side of Surprise on Bell Road. It's also locally owned, not a franchise. Nice place, nice people and good food. Dishes are made fresh prior to serving, unlike Chinese buffets in which the various items have been sitting around for who knows how long. The Golden Wei has always been the friendly little Chinese restaurant less than a mile from my home. Don't go there looking for fancy, expensive PF Chang gourmet dishes. However, you will enjoy this delightful local restaurant.
