  • The hubs and I flew in, walked the whole day and finally decided to go to refuel with some drinks. We arrived at 5:57pm. It was our first time here and was thrown off by its front door. It looks like a place that is closed for good, but the sandwich board clearly indicates it is open. Just push on the wooden panel (right hand side) that looks like a boarded up door, and you shall find the path of least resistance to some pretty awesome HH cocktails. HH is half priced on everything, and happens between 4pm-7pm. It appears that they change their menu every season. Cocktails during HH are $5 to $6 each. We ordered 4 drinks together. Each one is ranked by how adventurous you are with your palate: 1 being least and 5 being most adventurous. Our favourite in this sesonal menu is The Portobello Fellow - and that is a 4. Very well balanced of savoury, spices, and sweet notes to end the drink. The server was prompt and nice. The only thing is a minus is that by the time we sat down they are already out of one of the drinks in the cocktail menu and out of chili lime almonds. Overall: love this joint. Didn't leave disappointed. Will come back for sure when we visit LV again.
