  • This is my first yelp review and unfortunately it's not a good one. This was all I could think of while the girl was cutting my hair, that I was going to go home and immediately write a review, because it was that bad of an experience. I went there at 9:30am and I was told to wait 20 mins which I didn't mind because Vons was right next to it and that gave me time to do a little grocery shopping. I came back to the salon and was helped by the same person who mans the reception desk. She asked me what I wanted which was a just a trim and a fringe cut. At this time, about 2 more customers arrived and they had about 4 hair stylist who were already working on other clients. To say the least, it was a busy day for them. She then took me to the shampooing station and started to wet my hair, now, if you're like me the shampooing part is one of the things I actually look forward to when getting my hair cut. So I was not happy when she used cold water to shampoo my hair, it was really uncomfortable, and this lady was such in a hurry that she was splashing water into my face and using her fingernails to massage my scalp hurriedly, I was already dodging her hands and wincing but she was such in a rush that I guess she didn't notice. She then put conditioner on my hair and immediately rinsed it off without even letting it sit on my hair, not even for 30 seconds. We then headed back to the cutting station where you could tell that she was such in a rush because she threw my hair everywhere while she was cutting it. My wet hair was literally whipping my face. At this point, I just really want to get out of here. She didn't even engage me in a conversation or even asked me if i was okay with the hair cut when she was done with it. I didn't know it was over until she took of the cape and just said "okay, thank you." Seriously? I paid and left no tip because I was really unhappy with the service. When I got home and looked in the mirror, I found out that my bangs was uneven. I'm sorry to say that I'm never going back to this location or even might have to rethink before going to another fantastic sams ever.
