After working a 10hr shift in retail taking care of my customers all day with a smile and a pleasant attitude I was looking forward to going to Hobby Lobby, browsing all the amazing products and picking up the 3 items I came in for.
I guess I must give off the vibe that I'm stupid because when I asked an employee where something was and i said it wasn't where she said it was , I was told "well if you don't see it then we don't have it. "
Now I have always been confused when I go to the checkout. There are never any indication which registers are open. There are usually 2-3 emotes at them but no lights on. So sometimes you go to a register and they really aren't open. Tonight was no exception. There were 3 registers open ( maybe ?) . I went to the middle one behind 2 customers with my 2 items. After I stood there for a minute the clerk told the lady in front of me that after her she was closed, then looked up at me and shrugged a sorry.
I work at a register all day. If I'm closing it up and a customer walks up with 2 items I do 1 of 2 things.... I take care of them, the transaction usually takes less than a minute or as they walk up I say " I'm sorry ma'am, I'm odes but they will be happy to help you on register 5" such a simple task one would think.
Employees here are never friendly, knowledgeable, or act like they want to help.
I left and went to Michaels.
