I went in for what I thought was an infection due to being on an antibiotic. It took a full week to get the test results back and I got them by mail rather than by phone. Imagine my shock when I opened the letter and found they had tested me for chlamydia & gonorrhea rather than the infection I thought I had! This after discussing that I had been celibate (sp) since my divorce for the past 5 years (sad but true!). It would have therefore been impossible that my issue was from an STD. They then said that the written results for the other tests (bacterial, yeast, etc.) were not included in the letter because they had been given to me while I was in the office. I'm doubtful they would have instantly been able to process those tests while I was in my appointment but they definitely did not give me any results while I was there, this was just not true.
The customer service and lack of attention is really lacking.
There is no excuse for the service provider doing unnecessary additional tests without advising me of what she was doing - this is the type of thing that contributes to the high cost of insurance.
My issues continue and I feel like I wasted my time and money going in there.
