  • I booked a private room for Hubby's birthday and I have to say it was one of the best times I've ever had for a birthday. They were so accommodating with payment options and booking in advance. This was my second escape room experience and also the best. I've been to Exit Strategy as well, but that's for another review. There are three different themed rooms at Black Out that all have a theme related to Charlotte. I really liked that detail. We did Trade Street Epidemic which was about a Zombie Apocolypse. WARNING: There are live characters that come into each of the rooms. That upped the adrenaline and vibe in the room so much! I left with a sprained finger and bruised knees, but it was definitely worth it. The employees were so much fun and the puzzles were challenging enough without being impossible to solve. We ended up escaping with less than 1 minute to spare. Everyone in our party enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be back for more!
