  • This zoo is fantastic! It's a wonderful place for the community and it's just the right size for an afternoon out, if you don't want to spend the entire day (and money) at one of the larger zoos. You can bring your own lunch or buy food there (which was actually very good, awesome chicken BLT for seven dollars). The animals were active and most were out in their enclosures. The kids center, train and merry-go-round are great too. Make a small donation of a couple dollars and keep the place going!
