| - This place is my frequent haunt for pre-show/pre-TSO dining. It's right there, it's overall reasonably priced, with a sufficient menu and wine list.
The food is very acceptable, and even my pickiest-eater friends have to make decisions on what they would like to eat. Plus, there's lots of new and interesting stuff for this guy to choose from too! No, it's not super-authentic Italian, but it is good and it's a great departure from pub grub.
I highly recommend anyone thinking about dining here call ahead for reservations. When they get busy, they're slammed. Otherwise, the place is decently quiet. On a busy night you can expect dinner to take a bit longer, too.
The main draw is the wood-burning pizza oven. It gives the whole place a nice warmth, especially if you're sitting in the area immediately surrounding it. It also results in especially tasty pizza (even if just pep & cheese).
If you're looking for a place that's easy on the brain, easy on the tummy and willing to pay for the setting and location (the main dining room is very cozy), this is your place!
