| - I was finally able to come to this shop at the end of my Vegas trip. We came here around 11-12ish and there was no line at all (how lucky). First thing I was wow'ed at: they have clear windows so you can see what is going on in the kitchen :) one of the bakers was assembling a strawberry shortcake, which looked so good. The amount of strawberries they put into the cakes are CRAZY (in a good way). I was seriously about to buy a whole cake for myself, but I was flying the same day so not possible, sadly. Although the shop is small, they are able to have A LOT of different kinds of pastries. From cookies to cupcakes to puff pastry - it took me a while for me to decide on what to get. Their cannolis are not displayed, so you have to ask them about it. Or least I didn't see them from their huge selection haha. Anyways, I finally decided to get their famous lobster tail and cannoli. I wish I was able to order more, but I was just so full, ugh. The lobster tail was so crunchy and so flavorful! The choux (?) cream had a strong vanilla flavor to it. I had imagined the lobster tail to be bigger, but its fine because it takes me a while to finish a lobster tail anyways. I would have to say that this is the best lobster tail I had ever have (even better than Mikes Pastry's in Boston). I'm usually not a huge fan of cannolis, but the ones here blew me away. The cannoli itself had so much flavor and I could literally eat it as a cookie. The cream adds the perfect touch to it since it does get dry. I would love to come back here again, but at the Hoboken location!
