  • We decided to check out Mathnasium when our son started struggling a little in math at the end of 5th grade. Knowing that having a solid base is important, and not feeling confident in our ability to teach him ourselves, Mathnasium seemed like a good avenue to try. We have friends who enrolled their children, and all were happy they did so. Our son has been going for about a month now. We love the ability to take him as often as we want, and try to get him there 4 days/wk. Kenny was wonderful when we were signing our son up, and has shared updates with us regarding our son's progress, and offered suggestions about how to structure his time there. Our son loves all the tutors who work there, but likes Sam the best right now. Sam is patient and calm and kind. Our son reacts well to him. My husband and I talk frequently about how glad we are that we signed our son up, and look forward to the homework help next school year!
