  • The car, a 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid was advertised in the "for sale by owner" section of Craigslist. I texted. Call from Brittany with a price of 10,000. She asked to qualify me over the phone. Asked why she was qualifying a cash buyer. Confirmed sale is a dealer sale, not private. Price increased to "around 14000". Promised a Carfax. Ignored further information requests and did not provide a Carfax. Buyer beware.
