| - This place was initially introduced and highly recommended to us by a friendly bartender from the Silverton Casino. He informed us that this place was a spin-off of Sushi Factory (in Las Vegas). It's a bit out of the way from "The Strip", but if you have the time it's well worth it. Anyway, after a horrible experience at Sushi Factory (see my review) several months ago, my buddies and I decided to give Oyshi a go. We couldn't have been any happier with our visit to Oyshi. Our server (Justin) was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. As for the food, the sashimi was fresh, the rolls were tasty, the ambiance was comfortable, simple and modern. By the way, the Ama ebi (sweet shrimp) and Uni (sea urchin) were both very fresh and delicious. However, I was bummed that each customer was limited to one order of Ama ebi and Uni per customer. But being that both are very expensive items, one can understand. If you're looking for a great, affordable sushi dinner in the Las Vegas area, look no further than Oyshi. I hope they keep up the good service, and not falter like that of Sushi Factory.
