  • Initially, I loved the really tiny office and ridiculously long wait times cause the doc was so nice. As time wore on, this became tedious. The last straw was going to her office for "clearance" before an eye operation. It took me 6 months to get the eye operation and I needed all lab results to be in before a certain date or I would loose the OR spot. I repeatedly called her office wondering why they had not sent in the results to the eye doc. The latter also called her office up until the day before my scheduled OR appointment. Needless to say, my OR appt. was cancelled and I have to wait another 6 months of seeing double before I can be scheduled again. Evidently Dr Modesta saw an elevated cholesterol and liver enzymes in my lab work, but I never heard a word from the office. I could have explained both as a side effect from a drug I was taking, but I was not given the courtesy of an explanation. Unprofessional is inadequate to describe this doctor/patient relationship. Doctor Modesta needs to retrain her professional staff or hire some qualified folks to run her office. And get back to your patients in a timely fashion. This practice is poorly run.
