| - FedEx, FedEx, FedEx...
Now, in my neighborhood, I see FedEx trucks driving around DAILY. I ordered a few things, including an iPhone replacement and FedEx just so happened to be my carrier (BOO!). On the day of my expected delivery, nothing came because supposedly I wasn't home. The second day, they made another attempt and guess what? Supposedly I wasn't home again. This is funny because I was in my living room with the blinds WIDE OPEN and I didn't see a truck whatsoever.
This, obviously, infuriated me, so I called FedEx customer service. They informed me that since the driver didn't have the gate code, he couldn't get in. Understandable, however, cars come in and out of this neighborhood constantly, meaning that the driver could have easily gotten in without the code. Did I mention he also had my phone number? It's a working number too, which is why I was confused that my phone wasn't ringing when he couldn't get in.
Anyway, the representative gave me the option of picking up my packages, which I declined. If I wanted to pick things up, I would have gone to the store to purchase the exact items. I need the FedEx worker to do their JOB and DELIVER my shit.
I swear, the next time I see FedEx as my carrier, I'll be cancelling the order. So much for overnight shipping. My 1-2 days turned into 4-5+ days and I still haven't received my packages. Very cool.
