  • Andrew brought to life the statement, "Honest mechanic." Centennial Toyota, of course, wanted to charge me over $5,000 to replace a transmission that just happened to be out of warranty in my 2010 Tundra. After visiting a few places, I ended up seeking Andrew's advice and diagnostics. Andrew was zero pressure, zero hassle, and 100% committed to the job and his customer. Andrew offered several possibilities and drove the truck in an effort to narrow down what the issues were. Within a couple of test drives, he was able to determine a possible cause. After a computer reset, and a recalibration of the driving patterns, the problem went away, however, it eventually returned. Without hesitation, Andrew told me to bring the truck back and he will continue to diagnose it. We did this over the course of 1-month. I was committed to Andrew because he told me to not spend the over $,5000 estimate from Centennial Toyota to replace the entire transmission. After I brought back the track a few times, Andrew was able to narrow it down to...wait for it...1 SPARK PLUG!!! The issues that the truck was producing did not leave us to believe it could have been 1 spark plug. So, we went back and looked at when Centennial Toyota repaired the spark plugs for me. And, what do you know? When Centennial Toyota replaced the spark plugs, they cracked the porcelain surrounding the spark plug and almost strip the head. Centennial Toyota also told me I might need new heads!!! So new transmission, and new heads because of an alleged spark plug tube seal. New heads, $6,000 plus $5,000 totalling $11,000! I will keep this post-G-rated as my initial reaction was R-rated. I think you get the point. Andrew is the man! His prices are VERY reasonable! After a few hundred dollars spent with Andrew, my 2010 Tundra was fixed, and months later I have had ZERO issues. Do not go anywhere else. If you want to waste time and money, search Yelp for another Toyota Repair shop. If you want to save time and money, and know that Andrew will fix the problem and is true to his word, then please visit him. Thanks again, Andrew! I will bring my mother-in-law's 2002 Sequioa your way as well.
