| - Whenever I plan a project these past several months, I look to Yelp for recommendations and when I find as many reviews as Shanes had I know they're not just family and friends writing them! I knew to ask for Barbara from reading others comments and she was as accommodating as I expected she would be... way more so! Barbara took the time to discuss my expectations when it came to clear bra and came outside to inspect my vehicle. She showed me several options and allowed me to ask my usual 10,000 questions and was extremely non-judgmental. She even took me out to the shop to discuss the benefits of one brand over another with Shane while he worked on another vehicle! We decided to go ahead with the project and she got me on their schedule faster than I had expected.
I arrived the morning of my appointment and was greeted by both Shane and Barbara and was taken aback... WAY back when Shane expressed what seemed to me to be a grave reluctance to perform ANY work on my car. My heart SUNK as he said applying clear bra to a seven (7) yo vehicle that already had 36,000 miles on it was something that in his opinion was probably not in anyone's best interest. I probably stood there with my mouth hanging open bc this was a project I gave considerable thought and planning to and now that the day and time had come it began to sound to me that it would be a "no go". OMG! You have GOT to be kidding me, right.
He came out to look my 2011 Lincoln over and pointed out things I knew all too well and then listened to what my expectations were and how I'd initially planned to have the hood and bumper stripped and painted, THEN clear bra'd but decided against that in favor of doing my own touch-ups and hoping for a simpler, more sensible plan that brought me to where we stood that morning. He searched and searched the car over and gave it a VERY thorough going over and asked many questions and allowed me to show how dissatisfied I'd been with the job someone else had done on my 2013 Lincoln. I told him honestly that all I'd really hoped for was to maintain the vehicle in a manner that would avoid any further destruction and that I thought the car looked to be in reasonable condition and I wasn't expecting miracles here. Shane decided that the car was a better candidate than when he first looked at his schedule for that morning and agreed to get started on it.
W-O-W!!! (THREE !!!'s) Four hours later, we get the call from Barbara saying that our 2011 Lincoln was ready for pick up so we rush over there thinking "Well, how bad can it be... right?". One word: FLAWLESS!!! ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS!!! I have no idea how he did it but Shane made the front end of my Lincoln look so very nearly perfect that I had a hard time finding where I'd done the touch-ups!! This thing is STUNNING! COULD NOT BE BETTER!!! Since Shane was busy in the shop tending to others who were on the schedule by this time, I told Barbara how shocked I was to think he seemed so reluctant to do the vehicle in the first place, then to find out it's so nearly PERFECT... what gives??? She told me that SHE felt the car was a good candidate but on paper, applying clear bra to a seven yo white car just wasn't the norm. Once Shane looked the car over A-N-D L-IS-T-E-N-E-D to my expectations and I was able to ask a lot of the right questions, he decided the project was looking like it might be quite successful.
HEY! WOW! Get your head in order when it comes to this kind of project, ask the right questions and align your expectations with reality, then go to the BEST in the business. You'll be as THRILLED with the job as I am!!! (THREE !!!'s!) ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WORK!!! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Now... what family member would take the time to write this lengthy a review on Yelp?? They're AWESOME!!!
