  • A little while ago I booked an appointment here. I was excited after all the reviews I read - I'm pretty picky with my hair, long and straight with bangs but grows quickly so a good cut vs. a bad cut shows up pretty fast. You wouldn't think it's so hard... Anyway, I should clarify that the review is for service because they never actually cut my hair. That's right. I showed up 10 min before the appointment, they were fairly busy but not packed, a few staff chatting but they helped me when I came in. Took my coat, gave me a very flattering robe, and I sat and waited. And waited. I kept trying to make eye contact with employees as they past by me and 1 other Asian couple waiting on the bench (I think only the girl was getting a cut, she had a robe on too), to see if they were ready for me. No one pauses for a second. 15 min past the hour I asked if I should keep waiting. She said yeah, the stylist is just a little late, she'll be here any minute. Fine. At 30 min past the hour I went up again to ask - she said the stylist wasn't here yet, she doesn't know where she is, she hasn't heard from her since this morning. So, 15 min ago, when you said she would be here in no time at all, you actually meant you have no clue where she is. When I asked her that (with a smile on my face, didn't want the stylist to chop off my hair with garden shears and then charge me $800 for it) she said "Oh, I guess I could call her". Dud. Sorry. I meant DUD. YOU ARE A DUD. At that point I said forget it, is there anyone else I could see? She smiled and said no, sorry about that. Just keep waiting. I said "But...you don't even know where she is..." so instead of offering to make the appointment for someone else for another day or anything, she just said "Sorry about that" and got my coat. If they request I be at my appointment 10 min prior, I would expect the stylist to be there as well. To avoid me instead of letting me know my appointment is being pushed back is a waste of time for both of us. To then not bother rectifying the situation by offering me at the VERY least a rebook is just infuriating. Definitely felt like I wasn't worth their time. A shame, because I just moved into the neighbourhood but I would never go back. Would not recommend.
