Meeting room and catering review. My daughter was being honored by the Phoenix West Rotary Club. We were invited to the Radisson Hotel Phoenix North.
We were unsure if we were at the right hotel because the signage was poor. We thought it was a Doubletree at first. There was a lot of construction upfront, and we did not know where to enter.
The friendly receptionist told us to go down the ramp to the ballroom for our meeting. The room was spacious and well lit.
Our tables were set with clean and tasteful cloths and silverware. The rolls were not warm, but they tasted fresh. You had a choice of wheat and white rolls served with butter balls. At each setting, there was a glass of unsweetened tea and water. For lunch, we enjoyed a robust and well made grilled chicken Caesar Salad. For dessert, they served up carrot cake.
*They did not have any alternative dessert for people like me with tree nut allergies.
My daughter was full, so we asked if we could take the carrot cake with us. The server was kind to bring us a box and she shared my dessert with a friend.
It was a pleasant experience.
