| - My family and I are new to Las Vegas and I've been looking for a photographer who would do a maternity shoot for my second pregnancy. It's been really hectic being in the middle of trying to buy a new home and moving to that home, our son starting school soon, and being already full term with my pregnancy. I was constantly looking at different photographers online whenever I got the chance. I was running out of time. I could give birth anytime soon!
Through my research, I was glad to have found Jackie Kinney Photography. I was already 37 weeks pregnant when I contacted her. She was very prompt with responding whenever I contacted her for any questions, requests, or concerns. She was also very flexible with our schedule since I wanted to make sure that my first born and my very busy husband would be included in my maternity shoot. We were able to book the session with Jackie the following week, on a Tuesday evening, at my 38th week of pregnancy. I was pretty nervous as the day of our session approached. Being 38 weeks pregnant, I was uncomfortable, swollen, and just looked very pregnant! We had the shoot at Lake Las Vegas on a hot 107 degree, windy evening. That was the very first time my family and I met Jackie, and we all felt instantly comfortable with her. She was very friendly, patient, full of energy, and quick with her ideas when we started the shoot. Despite all the discomfort of my 38th week of pregnancy multiplied by 3 with the Las Vegas heat, Jackie did a great job in making sure that I looked really good in my photos. She also made sure to get to editing the photos right away, so I could have the photos to share before my baby arrived. After seeing all the finished product the day following my maternity shoot (yes, she's that quick and dedicated), I was so very impressed with how great all the photos turned out! My husband and I have also received so many compliments from our family and friends when they saw our photos.
I am so glad we found Jackie Kinney! She will definitely be our photographer from now on. In fact, my husband and I have already booked our newborn session with her, which will be very soon.
