  • Might be my FAVORITE new place in Phoenix! Another fabulous find in our first week in our new hometown. Still awaiting our storage unit- eating out had become a chore until we found Saba's Mediterranean Kitchen. After learning that we were new to the area, the owner asked a few questions about our local experiences. We mentioned that we had liked a local competitor's fare. He smiled, and never made a negative comment saying,"I'm sure you will love our food, too." We ordered the chipotle gyro platter, falafel gyro platter, and Chicago gyro platter. As we paid for our food, we were pleased to find that he included small samples of the lemon rice soup and lentil soup- either one is completely wonderful. What a great surprise that was! The food was out of this world and is now our favorite place.
