  • WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE My first mistake was not checking the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for this company. Redline has a CR65 license which is for window glazing. The license should be CR67 for alarm companies. Don't make the mistake I did - always check. You can confirm this on the Arizona Registrar of Contractors web site. I live rather remotely but Redline said no problem and came out and installed my system. This included 4 security cameras tied to the system as well as glass break and other sensors. This equated to SEVERAL THOUSANDS of dollars. With the first rain storm two cameras went out. They came back and replaced them. The rep said they have these systems all over and never have this type of problem with them. My husband, who is a general contractor, looked at their installation. It was not even water proofed. The cameras are on the roof of the house. Now it is a little over a year and another camera goes out. Monitronics sends their teck out to determine what the problem was. I was told the camera was no good. Welll of course they are now out of warranty. I contacted Redline and they said the type of cameras I have are no longer being used but he did get a replacement camera from Alarm.com. Now I need it connected and learned in to the system. Monitronics first said they would schedule someone but then called back and said they no longer have anyone that services our area. What about Redline who sold it to me?? They no longer service my area either. Well just take the money and run I guess is their motto. Then Monitronics calls and says they have to terminate my system because they can't service me. Mind you I had to sign a two year contract but I guess that doesn't count. My husband had several conversations with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors as well as the rep from Redline. The Registrar of Contractors confirmed that Redline is operating 'out of scope' with the license they have. Redline said they would help get us up and running with a new service provider as well as providing monetary help for the inconvenience. We found a company that would service us from Wickenburg - who does have the correct license. Redline never came through with any help after we made arrangements with the company from Wickenburg. I wouldn't trust them for any type of job. Lesson learned
