This is my second time at this location, mind you the last time I came here it was 1998. My hubby and I attended The Illusionists show at this spot last night.
This venue has changed massively.. the place itself is outdated and filthy.. as were going up the stairs to our entrance door we were disgusting at how much dirt was in the carpet.
The place definitely needs a deep clean vacuum. They should really look into sprucing up the place, it just look tired and outdated. Could use a facelift.
My husband and I are nowhere near being overweight but we found our chairs to be a very tight squeeze. You literally had to hold your arms in so that you were not touching the stranger next to you.
The drinks were so bad.... they didn't have any brand name beer that was decent and my cranberry vodka had an odd taste to it. We paid $16 for them and after one sip ended up throwing them out.
The Ed Mirvish Theatre makes this place look like a dump. I will only come back here if there's a show I really really want to see but other than that I will look to stay at the Ed Mirvish Theatre.
Also, the show was just "okay" in my opinion.. it was kind of cheesy and seemed like it was missing something.. their were a couple of illusions that were awesome but mostly were fake and seemed like their was someone in on it..
