  • We stopped in here for a post-book club drink while in the neighbourhood. The place was hopping at 9 pm on a Friday night and it was easy to see why. Funky cool decor, great music and a fun vibe. Our server was really friendly and attentive even though the place was busy. I tried a Pimms cup off the cocktail menu which was not the best, tasted mostly of ginger ale, then a gin and tonic which was much better. Mixed drink prices were better than the cocktails. It was pretty loud when we were there, unless you're sitting in the back like we were it would probably be hard to carry on a conversation. Great new addition to the Verdun bar scene. I don't think I'd go out of my way to come here but would definitely stop in if in the area.
