  • I am writing this review specifically in regards to Dr. Matthew Fouse. I had right ACL surgery with Dr. Fouse in March of 2014. He was professional, kind, and compassionate in every encounter. He always took the time to answer my questions. I struggled with my recovery and he was always there to tell me that I was doing great. ACL surgery is no joke, but I felt like my surgery and recovery went exceptionally well due to his handiwork :-). One year later I went back to running and playing soccer as if nothing had ever happened. I unfortunately tore my Left ACL this past September and was unable to use Dr. Fouse as I had new insurance that was not accepted by Desert Orthopedic Center. I can tell you that my experience with my new surgeon was nowhere near as amazing as my experience with Dr. Fouse. I wish I could have used him for my second knee surgery, and now unfortunately for the third one I need as the second one did not work out well. If you are looking for a great knee surgeon, I would highly recommend him! A lot of people complain about the office wait time, but I never experienced a problem with that. I work in healthcare, and if you don't expect to wait for at least thirty to forty five minutes to be seen by a physician, then you may want to adjust your expectations.
