I was looking for a Subaru for my daughter whom is new to Madison from California. Her boyfriend moved 3 months ahead of her with a car not suitable for snow. I called this dealership about a Certified Pre-Owned 2011 Legacy with 60,000 miles.. The salesman was Dean and we had a nice rapport so I sent my daughter in to test drive the car. Prior to her going in to drive the car, I tried to negotiate a better deal but was told by Dean that he didn't need to negotiate anything with me because they could charge whatever they wanted because Epic, the largest employer there, drives the prices. Nonetheless, they are in close proximity to her so her and boyfriend went to drive it. I spoke with the boyfriend and he said the car was good and I was ready to make a deal with the salesman Dean left in his stead to deal with them. I want to add that Dean never mentioned to me he was going home and leaving someone else to help my daughter and boyfriend, which I thought was rude. In any case, I was anxious to get them a vehicle that could handle snow and was ready to talk to the salesman about proceeding ahead, but my daughter was on the phone with me and she told me not to bother because the dealership was turning out the lights and shewing them away. This dealership has high prices, a snotty attitude, and are just plain rude. No thanks. I wind up buying from Sommer's Subaru.
