| - I love this resort. Always have as a tourist, and feelings have not changed even though I'm a local now. Had a staycation for Labor Day weekend and it was such a great stay. Rooms were clean, pool area was very relaxing and I really enjoyed the overall vibe of this property. Granted, the check in/out process took longer than necessary but I get it, it was a busy holiday weekend afterall.
1. beautiful resort. It's HUGEEEEEE and everything you need/want is available here under one roof. I'm a sucker for theming and this is an all out Roman Empire.
2. centrally located on The Strip. Perfect prime spot.
3. plenty of restaurants to choose from that fits all budgets.
4. Forum Shops. Again, stores that fit all budgets. You got your bebe, Marciano, Bath & Body Works, Sephora and Victoria's Secret. But you also got your Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co and Christian Louboutin. Now THIS....is shopping heaven here.
-large casino floor. Table minimum starts at $10.
5. Five beautiful pools. Never once have I felt it too crowded and chaotic, even during Labor Day weekend. (separate review on the pool.)
6. Different towers to choose from....whatever your budget is, I'm sure there's a tower for you. Top two towers are: Augustus and their newest, Octavius. Those two are literally right next to each other. Closest to the front desk area, pools and Bacchanal Buffet....but furthest away from the self parking garage and forum shops. Their "new renovated" Julius Tower used to be where all the Classic Rooms are at.
(((((NOTE))))): I've stayed in both Augustus and Octavius before and their rooms are identical. I'm not sure why some reviews are complaining about the Octavius and preferring Augustus over that. Literally...the only difference with staying at Octavius is a 2 minute longer walk to get out of the tower. Wifi was a bit spotty during my stay....weak reception, only had one reception bar. Not sure if it was the tower, my phone carrier (T-Mobile) or a little bit of both.
7. this property is pet friendly, with an additional cost of course. They don't limit you to just your service dog, family pets are welcome.
8. If you're into the nightclub scene, Caesars hosts one of the newest, most popular nightclub here in Vegas; Omnia Nightclub.
And for those complaining about resort fees and how come the none of the rooms have a microwave, sorry but that's just how Las Vegas is. Almost EVERY resort on The Strip WILL charge you a daily resort fee. You're lucky Caesars Properties don't charge you for parking (yet). They don't provide microwaves because of liability issues and there's usually not a refrigerator in the room. Why? Because there just isn't. FYI, a mini bar is not a refrigerator either. The properties on The Strip isn't a Holiday Inn. If having a refrigerator is that big of a concern to you, then don't stay on The Strip. No resort/hotel will provide that for you free of charge.
If opportunity arises again, I would definitely have another staycation here, hands down, no hesitation.
