I originally moved to Vegas to do two things, fulfill my college's internship program and train grappling competitively. Cobra Kai employed and housed me, so I admit a bias.
However, after I finished my schooling, Cobra Kai is what kept me within Vegas. They provided me with a family, a network that I knew would support me within a town I wasn't a part of previously. Cobra Kai has provided me with the aspects to succeed in my life, despite my competing grappling days now taking a backseat to a career.
The training is fairly equitable between gi and NoGi, allowing you to shop your own preference. You won't have to waste your time doing warm-ups and calisthenics, the time you spend here is purely for learning and implementing. I am personally someone who prefers NoGi grappling and I feel the school gave me an edge that allowed me to win local tournaments and participate in Pro tournaments.
Sim is a great coach and a friend, I full heartedly think the school is a great place to become a better person and grappler.
