This is the most hygienic gym I've ever been to. They constantly (and I mean constantly) clean all the equipment here and do laundry runs every hour on the hour. The locker rooms, sauna, showers and changing rooms are super clean and sprayed down/wiped down every day. I'd say that this is One-to-One's strongest area: how clean they are.
They also have very friendly employees. When you first come in, the front desk person greets you and you get a towel and a locker. The other gym goers are very kind and genial and willing to help you out if you don't know how to use the equipment. There are a good selection of classes but I wish there were more available. The Recovery zone is a nice addition but kind of pricey.
When I go to this gym, I love using this section where they have all these Matrix machines set up in a circle. You just cycle through all the machines to work out the majority of your body. It's a pretty cool set up. I also love how there is so much equipment available too so there's never really a wait for anything. There are tons of treadmills and stationary bikes and other stuff that I don't even know the name of. The group fitness room is also pretty big.
From the other reviews I saw on yelp, everyone seems to be complaining that there is a lot of outdated equipment. That's true but I'd say the majority of the equipment is new (they just keep the old stuff there as an option I guess). I know that they just added lot of new weights to the weight room (I don't really lift that much so I don't know much about it) but most people I see in that room seem generally happy with the equipment they have.
Overall it's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. It's a little tight sometimes but it's because they have so much equipment squished in and honestly I don't even really notice it most of the time. I really like the place overall. It's just all the options available and the gym membership itself is expensive.
