| - FYI- If it reads, "Kids" in the title and you don't have a child, you will be asked to leave. There was only one *unheated* yoga class offered in the time frame I was able to go, but it said kids in it, so I called ahead to verify that both kids and adults are welcome (I had gone to another adult yoga class this week where there were 15+ adults and like 3 kids, which was a first for me at this location and totally unexpected). The attendant on the phone said yes I am still welcome, but when I got to the class where children and adults were present - I was asked to leave since I don't have a child. It was just a hassle because I called ahead specifically for this reason, and driving to TruFusion is an hour roundtrip for me. I went to a heated yoga class instead which was awesome as always, but not something I wanted given the 120 degree outside temperature.
I understand the perk of allowing children to start coming with their parents for some customers, but this situation made me completely uncomfortable and I pay a lot of money for this place so that I can attend all the classes. I just want people to be aware so they don't make the same mistake I did!
Possible solutions for TruFusion:
-Provide more unheated yoga classes for adults only during the summer
-Better communicate with staff so they are not giving incorrect information to paying customers
-Specify audience on each and every class: adult only, adult optional for children, or children with parents only.
It is physically impossible to have a bad teacher or class here! I absolutely love this place, the holistic approach to yoga, and the workouts they offer!! I recommend it to everyone . Also, because you come to the mall so often to go to class, you realize how many cool, free events the mall offers outside of shopping!
