rev:text	I am a frequent customer of Lucky Dog Bark & Brew. Until this past weekend, I loved coming to this place. I have a 7 year old rescue lab retriever mix. She is timid around people but loves playing with other dogs. On Friday 4/14/17, I decided to have her bathed while I was there as I was with a bunch of friends. I have had her groomed MULTIPLE times, and all the places I have been have never had an issue. Friday, it appears that the person grooming her was not experienced with rescue dogs. He cornered her after she ran out of a crate opened. I am not sure why the groomer did have her on a leash, but after cornering her, he grabbed her by the harness and she turned and bit his hand. This was clearly a reaction to a dog scared. Any rescue dog owner knows that timid dogs could feel threatened in this instance. To make matters worse, this individual filed an animal control report, and my dog now has a record of biting people. If she were to bite someone again she will be euthanized. For such a sweet dog, this is terrible to know that she has this on her record due to an inexperienced groomer. One would think that groomers would be properly training to handle this situations. After this occurred I was told I could not longer come back to this bar. I want to make everyone aware of this because as a place I formerly loved, I would hate to see you put in a situation where your dog could be euthanized over another's mistake. To avoid this, DO NOT get your dog groomed at this location.
