  • Central Piedmont is a top notch Community College. I have had access to very high end and very expensive equipment to learn on during my time here. No other school any where near here can compete. I have attended another Community College in the general vicinity, and the difference is night and day. CPCC is head and shoulders above any other Community College probably in the whole of the Carolinas. I am studying Electrical Engineering Technology which is a course of study that depends heavily on technology. CPCC has the necessary equipment, both hardware and software, to give a very good education in this field. CPCC also has very knowledgable faculty. All my instructors have held well regarded positions in the industry, and know both the academics and the real world applications of what they are teaching. CPCC also provides a good college experience with plays and music events and art and culture available year round. There is a nice gym that is realitivly well stocked with equipment. I would suggest CPCC as an excellent option for the student seeking a good education to take into the work place, or for the student that plans to pursue further higher education.
