| - I was a week away from selling my house and the garage door stopped opening, figures right? I called A1 to come check out the problem and Steve was able to come out right away. He took one look at my opener and knew what the problem was immediately. I told him I was moving and didn't want a new unit if I could avoid it. Luckily, it was an easy part to replace. However, my unit was so old that he didn't have the part on him. Instead of pressuring me to install a new unit, he told me he'd get the part from the warehouse and come back the next day. He came back, replaced the part, and boom, it started working again.
2 days before close, it started acting up again, but this time it closed part way and then rolled back up. I couldn't catch a break. Called A1 and Steve was able to come out same day again to take a look. He gave a thorough explanation about what was happening and why I probably needed a new unit. With the sale so close, I couldn't risk a faulty opener mucking things up, so I agreed that we should install a new unit. Steve recognized that I wasn't going to own the house for much longer, so he hooked me up with a great deal to make the situation a little less painful.
If all A1's techs are as good as Steve, you'll be in good hands.
