  • The employees here are extremely friendly and very helpful. I don't know how I missed it but apparently you can smoke in casinos in Arizona. This is a casino first and hotel second. You can smell the smoke everywhere in the hotel. All of my clothing, skin and hair are contaminated with smoke and Wreak. According to the employees this hotel and casino has much better ventilation than most. However, I found it to be completely unacceptable. The rooms and all of the accommodations are nice and the breakfast was fabulous. The pool was under construction but it look like it had great potential. The bottom line for me at this place is that I will never step foot in here again because of the smoke. It is my belief that the health of the employees of the Talkingstick as well as the guest's health is at risk because of the allowance for smoke for smoke. It seems very old-fashioned, as in uneducated and extremely crooked to me that a vice of one person should put workers and other customers at risk.
