GoA is a great place to get your hair cut. It's inexpensive - $30 for ladies plus tip. I always book Hannah. She speaks fluent English and is a wonderful person to talk to and get your hair cut by. She makes lots of great suggestions for your hair type and is always super nice. I've been going to her for several years now. There are also lots of Korean-speaking stylists around, but I don't think they understand or speak English very well.
The only time I haven't had a great experience was my last haircut. There wasn't anything wrong with it per say, but the bangs were cut too short. I usually opt for long side bangs in my haircuts but that day it was just way way too short and looked horrible. I was Hannah's first customer that day, so maybe she wasn't awake or something yet.
Anyway, since that "bad haircut", I've tried going to other places and haven't received anything like the service or quality of haircut I usually get a GoA. So far, Hannah is still the best I've come across. Even my mom commented that I should "go back to my old stylist" after she saw my last haircut from a different place, haha!
I will probably go back to GoA. At the end of the day, there's nobody that cuts hair as well for such a great price, and despite the one bad experience, it would still recommend GoA to anyone.
