| - 3.5*. I surprised myself by actually finding my wedding dress at this location, because, to be honest, I hadn't expected to find my dress here at all. But while I had a decent experience, to be fair, I think a good/decent experience at this location depends on the following caveats:
1) How busy the location is at the time you visit (I came on a Thursday around 10:30 AM, and it was completely empty. Having the store to myself and having a consultant available right away was nice to have).
2) If you know what you want. While the store is nicely organized with a variety of options, finding an actual, legitimate gem in the midst of piles of generic tulle can be challenging. I actually saw a specific Zac Posen dress online that I wanted to try on (this location had it, which was the reason I was there in the first place - make sure you bring the product code with you if you do this!). Besides this dress and a Vera Wang I saw online, I didn't really find anything else I wanted to try on.
3) Your consultant. My consultant was Lorraine, and she was a gem. She wasn't pushy, and she was very helpful without being obtrusive. She didn't hover, but was there when I needed her - which was a really nice change from other bridal stores I'd visited.
My positives: clean store with more variety and selection vs. the Mississauga location, and nice non-pushy staff (Lorraine and Meghan were, honestly, great).
My main complaint: while I truly believe my dress is beautiful, timeless, and different (this Zac Posen was definitely the ONE), my problem is that the dress was dirty at the time I bought it so I'm not 100% over the moon. The straps were very dirty at the time of purchase, as was the bottom of the dress, and there was also some staining. I was told at the time of purchase that my dress will be steamed and cleaned after alterations, so we'll see if this happens and how well that goes.
Overall, a location worth visiting at least once, but I'd keep the above issues in mind.
