  • I went to see Karen to get a haircut and loose perm and I was very impressed with the customer service that I received. Upon entering Salon de Elephant, I was welcomed by a staff member who escorted me to my chair and was then provided with a moist towel to wash my hands and the option to purchase a non-alcoholic beverage. Rather than purchasing a beverage, I opted for a glass of water that came with ice and slices of cucumber. Prior to getting my haircut, Karen took the time to have a one-on-one consultation with me to discuss what I liked about my last hair cut and what I wanted in my new haircut. She provided me with pictures of hairstyles and cuts that would look similar to the hairstyle that I envisioned and then discussed what she would need to do to my hair to make it look like my vision. I was given a hair shampoo with head massage and then my hair was cut. After the cut, an assistant came to begin the perm process. Attention by Su was much appreciated as he informed me of every step of the process and Karen ensured that she came by to check on his work. As well, Su was very responsive to my needs, as he would provide me with tissues to wipe any drips, as well as getting a wet towel to wipe my neck for any additional drips that may or may not be there. After the perm treatment, I was again provided with a rinse and conditioning treatment that also included another head massage. Once all my services were done, I was able to look over Karen and Su's work and ask for any areas that I felt needed to be geared more to my vision, to which Karen was very responsive to meeting my needs. I would highly recommended going to Salon de Elephant for any services that you are interested in getting regarding your hair care needs. Not only is their customer service amazing but their attention to customer needs and knowledge regarding hair styles and the way hair grows is amazing!
