I love this little bakery despite their prices. Not everything here is amazing but you'll find your favourites I hope. My personal recommendations are always the fruit danishes that they sell. They looks delicious, are delicious and photograph the best for all you instagram-ers.
This time we bought the fig danish and their beignets. These things are way more akin to a Timbit with sugar and filling. The filling is the best part and my only gripe is that it doesn't really feel like a beignet in my opinion or at least not a classic one. The fig danish we kept to the next day and ate it. Did I mention their pastries keep at least the danishes do.
My partner got their new ice cream. Strawberry with vanilla swirl. Taste and texture are spot on for what you would expect from good ice cream. It was smooth and light and he strawberry keeps its tartness as well as it's sweetness. My girlfriend thorough enjoyed it.
Previously we got the strawberry matcha danish and the pear danish bob delicious. The Matchamisu cake there was good but lacked the bitter sweet taste of the matcha that we like.
I would love to give this place 5 stars but I think it's because I never know or will likely come in when stuff come freshly out of the over. The price is also on the slightly high side with each beignet being $2. This place is like a good splurge for enjoyment and always a hard fight with you wallet to see how many you can buy before your wallet cries.
