| - Kicked.off flight. I'm disabled, I have intolerance to heat. On September 24, 2017. Heat wave, high humidity No air flow in cabin, no A/C in cabin (except up front for crew.) Everyone was complaining about hot, stuffy, lack of air in cabin.
Twice, I went to lavatory to put wet paper towels on me to prevent a MS heat attack. They claimed I was " throwing up" (which I wasn't) & told me a medic was up front to see me. There was none. Crew tried to get me off plane onto gateway, but I stood in cold air blowing down on me. I was fine, not sick. They insisted I get off jet.
I insisted on getting my dog (underseat), my medications. Attendants were perturbed. I then requested my overhead suitcase. Handle broke she yanked so hard. Then threw my jacket at me. (My MS, expensive special prescription MS sunglasses were on top of my jacket & ovelooked in the frenzied, rude, humiliating, abruption process.
I left quietly. How can they treat me this way? I did nothing wrong. Was falsely accused!
The next flight was in 4 days. No accommodations.
No ride. I was out in middle of Cedar Rapids, IA cornfield !!!
I called ADA which had me call the Air Comsumer Protection Division of U.S. Dept of Transportation.
I was told "They absolutely can not do what they did & report this."
They violated my disability rights & caused intentional inflection of emotional distress.
I've been in such emotional distress, which is why it took this long to post this. I still get choked up & cry when explaining to anyone my humiliation, unfair, rude, abrupt Allegiant actions.
From what I've read, many disabeled people have also.
