  • I haven't even been to the salon yet and I am already not impressed. I purchased two Groupons - one for a spa day package and one for three Shellac manicures. It took me 2 DAYS to get a hold of the salon by phone! No one was answering the phone! I actually was getting nervous that the place had closed and was about to contact Groupon to get my money back when they finally answered the phone. The girl who "tried" to make my appointments was a terrible receptionist. She would tell me a day/time was available, I'd agree to it, then she'd say no, sorry that's not open. What is that??? No apology for the lack of availability or difficulty scheduling. I called back today to confirm my appointments and they had my spa day completely messed up - 1 service at 9am and the next one not till Noon! Who would think it's OK to book someone with a 3 hour break in between? Again, no apology for the confusion. They also had my email address entirely wrong and it took several attempts to get the girl to understand what I was telling her the correct address was. I am very nervous about how my actual services will be at this place. I will update this review afterward with how they went. I also notice that others have had the exact same problems as I have at different times so this was obviously not a one time bad experience. Lynette will lose business faster than she knows if this keeps up. UPDATE: OK, I finally went to the salon for my services. I have to say the facial was the best I've ever had. The massage was very good as well. The staff is very friendly and they do great work. I still have issues with their scheduling problems though. It seems that they do not have a dedicated receptionist. The phones and customers coming in are handled by whomever is there at the time. Although Lynette Sciulli's is a small place, it should have a dedicated receptionist to handle the phones and customers coming in. On a slightly less important note, the waiting area is actually in the next room from where you come in and unless you know, you aren't even aware that there is a place for you to sit and wait. Sad, because I am still afraid that the lack of finesse in scheduling will hurt this otherwise nice day spa.
