Every once I'm awhile I convince myself that I could be a painter. When the artistic hankering tugs at me, I head over to Midoco in the Annex to marvel at all the artists tools and talk to the very knowledgeable staff.
They've got everything there! Giant pieces of construction paper, paints in every shade, brushes that would make Bob Ross smile with glee.
I usually don't end up buying paints, but instead leave with some fancy pens and a new Moleskein notebook. I repeat the phrase "writing is art too" in my head while I buy them and it makes me feel better.
