| - The experience were ok. We got a 3-museum pass package Las Vegas deal and after going to see the Aquarium and the Titanic exhibition, this CSI was the last one (it was literally free after the visits at 2 other places...so get the pass!).
Given we never really tried crime scene puzzle, we figured we would check one out (since it was one of the places available to pick when we bought the pass...but looking back from our experience, in no way would we pay $30pp / crime scene for each game...so you'd probably be best going by a pass and thinking of this as a free add on).
The crime we got to solve was a crime scene in a desert. It wasn't difficult or exciting per se and was pretty much self-guided. Along 3-4 stations that you get to stop by, you get to learn about the pretty obvious clues here and there on what might have caused someone's death...so I'd be surprised if an adult couldn't figure out what happened in each crime either.
At the end, you get to input your answer and get a CSI certificate (via email) if you cared for one. If I were a kid (say 8-13 yearsold), perhaps, i would really enjoy solving it. However, given so many obvious clues...it wasn't anything challenging at all. What I found was interesting though was learning different/interesting knowledge nuggets of how forensic scientists think/use several methods to solve crime scenes. Overall, it wasn't anything worth your time if you have to skip something important to go to this one. If you are looking for a time to kill, however, this place would do it. Perhaps...the experience...lasted us like..~30 min max.
