  • If I could give ZERO stars I would. This place is awful, dirty, unprofessional, rude employees, should I go on ? I called after hours it was about 930pm, it was clear to me my dog had something going on, I thought he had something stuck in his throat, but he was breathing ok, just drooling a LOT, and licking his mouth, and kept simulating trying to swallow. I called and they said bring him in...it's not busy. Well when I got there and walked it they asked what was wrong, I said that I thought he had something stuck in his throat. They had me fill out paperwork, and we sat in the dirty waiting room for 30 minutes, the really obese guy comes out and says the wait is going to be about 3 more hours because one patient "took a turn for the worse" and then added "We don't have anything to look down your dogs throat anyway." REALLY ??? He KNEW they didn't have anything to look down my dogs throat .. he couldn't have told me that 30 minutes prior, when I walked through the door and TOLD him I thought my dog had something in his throat ?!?!? Ridiculous!!! So he sent us to 40th St./Cactus to Sonora Veterinary Specialists. WOW !!! What a GREAT place, I am so very happy that VCA Paradise Valley sucked and their people were rude, SVS on Cactus was a MILLION times better, it was awesome. It you care about your pet, DO NOT take them here !!!!!
