  • I just recently moved here, so I was trying to find a place to get my nails done at. I usually get a basic manicure with gel polish but I had a Solar Nails Full Set with a gel overlay on top prior to going to the salon. I had them for about two weeks for an event, but I needed to take them off because of work, so I was just looking for a place to soak/take them off and let my nails breathe a little before putting gel back on (gel was acceptable for work, not acrylic). I made an appointment with Polished online, and from the website, it looked nice and professional. I made an appointment early in the morning and they were able to get me in to take my nails off at 1. The receptionist desk was very kind and professional. Tammy was my tech and everything was nice until she took me to her work station. I've worn full sets plenty of times to know the proper and correct way to remove them via soaking in warm acetone. But instead of soaking me off, she proceeded to take a nail tip and forced it under my false nails to POP them off. I asked her if I could soak them off and she said this was how they took off nails. I needed to take them off for work so I just suckered it up and let her torture my hands. It was so painful popping my nails off! I could see my real nails being ripped away! I pulled back a few times because I told her it was really sensitive and she still proceeded and continued bad mouthing me in Vietnamese. Little did she know, I am half white and half Vietnamese and I speak fluently, so I understand every single word she said to her co-worker complaining about me. I was so uncomfortable and offended by the unprofessionalism and rude manner, I just wanted her to hurry up and finished and let me leave! She painted a clear coat on my nails and showed me to the drying station and just left me standing there WITH NO CHAIR. How am I suppose to know that the chair that was three feet away from the table on the wall was meant for client's at the drying station? It was TERRIBLE customer service. I stood for a bit until she realized that I didn't have a chair, and told me to pull up the chair from the wall to sit in...when my nails were wet??? What kind of tech is that? I DO NOT recommend this salon to ANYONE and I will NEVER go back. I've never received worst service or been more offended. Speaking another language is a gift. & it's useful. But they should be more careful about trash talking client's to their face, and work on their professionalism and customer service. I'm glad I only came for a take off and nothing more because I wasn't happy with my visit for such a simple service. Save yourself your time, money, and nails elsewhere! Worst salon in Vegas!
