  • We had our house inspected by Don this morning, from start to finish he has been a pleasure to work with. We have a new home under construction and didn't know that most inspectors in the valley don't even do new home/ inspection phases because of the hassle and insurance required. I reached out to so many companies and got turned away by all accept Don who answered the call. I was happy we found someone who not only had all great reviews but the insurance and knowledge needed when dealing with new builds. He responded quickly to every email and little question we had, we were even able to share photos with him ahead of time on things we've found on our own that we wanted him to take a look at. During the inspection he also found things that we didn't catch or could easily have access to see. As observant as we are (even as a brand new home with warranties and the builder's own city and third-party inspectors) I would recommend having someone who's really looking out for you and making sure your concerns are addressed; Porterhouse did just that for us. It was completely worth it to have that extra set of eyes and someone to explain the construction and terminology to us as well as relay that information to our builder. Plus it's so nice having a thorough report at the end of the day, with photos, of everything we talked about so we can easily look back and keep track of any fixes. He gave us and the builder the green light as well as the confidence we needed moving forward. With a sigh of relief at how well the whole process went I feel I can get excited again to have this home done and built already! Thanks Don!!
