A friend and I stopped in last weekend to grab some coffee and catch up. Neither of us had ever been to this establishment before, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The interior is quite spacious with a couple of smaller tables, some comfy lounge chairs, and a large communal table. Despite having an industrial feel, it's still very bright and cozy rather than intimidating and cavernous.
I'm a huge fan of places that serve pour over coffee and really love the taste of Intelligentsia beans. I tried 2 different roasts during my visit (unfortunately their names are escaping me at the moment) and both were amazing. The baristas are friendly and take their time crafting everyone's beverages. I really enjoy their simple and straightforward approach, but that might be because I take my coffee black. It's a little pricier than the typical chain or even other local coffee shops in Pittsburgh, but the product you're receiving and the care gone into making it is worth it in my opinion.
