| - A bar with a good selection of beer and food. I went here with a group of 4 people, and we decided to try this bar on Saint-Denis.
The beer menu is displayed on a screen on the wall. I would personally prefer to have a paper menu for this. At one point the screen was even having problems and blacked out. However, the waitress was very nice and ended up writing down some choices of beer for us, which we ended up trying and enjoying.
The place is very busy and noisy, like most bars in Montreal. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
I ordered the Tsukemen, a noodle dish with duck, boiled eggs, soba noodles, shiitake mushrooms and a dashi broth. For food coming from a bar, it was really good. My companions ordered some ravioli stuffed with ox tail, and nachos as an appetizer.
We decided to try the desserts too. 3 of us tried the apple pie, and 1 of us the cannoli. I thought the apple pie was a little bland and overcomplicated. There were cashews inside as well as cream chevre cheese, but despite all that, the apples themselves didn't have any seasoning.
All in all, everyone was happy with their meals and beer. I'd go back for sure.
