  • Hyatt, the manager at this location, used his resourcefulness so I didn't completely lose my mind when I took my H3 in for an air conditioning repair last week (during the scorching 115 degree heatwave). I was initially told that my car couldn't be repaired until the next day - since a part had to come from way across town and wouldn't arrive until the next morning's UPs deliveries. I called at 11 the next morning and was assured that the part would be arriving any moment. Some time after delivering my car to Midas, Hyatt called to let me know that Midas received the wrong part (blower motor) and that the correct part wouldn't be available until the following day. I I was quite upset and told Hyatt that the only reason I had left my vehicle there to have the work done (and not attempt to buy the necessary parts myself and have someone else install them - significantly cheaper) was because I was told I would have my vehicle back THAT DAY! I demanded to speak to the District Manager. Hyatt gave the name and number to "George" the district manager (who is actually the franchise owner of Midas - as shown by a google search). I left a surprisingly calm, detailed message for George requesting that he call me back and then I went and started googling Midas Complaints - Corporate and got in touch with a call center rep in Port St Lucia FL. While I was on the phone with FL Wyatt called to let me know that one of his tech's would get in his car and personally drive across town and get the correct motor and that my vehicle would be ready that day - even if the team had to work late. Well, my vehicle was repaired and ready that day. Further, George followed up with me later that evening to make sure that my complaint and frustration had been satisfactorily addressed. I told him that everything worked out ok that that he is fortunate to have such a "can do" manager as Hyatt and a good team of mechanics - especially the goteed young man from Queen Creek that handled my repair. That shop on Southern and Central clearly deserves that prominently displayed sign that reads "IT'S NOT JUST OUR WORK - IT'S OUR WORD".
