This salon is very beautiful and the people are polite. I have biracial curly coarse hair. I would not recommend this salon for those who have my hair type. They didn't quite know what to do with it. My stylist brushed out my hair after washing it for the second time, which anyone who knows curls knows that's a no no. She couldn't get my curls to form at all but instead of just straightening it for me or at least using a diffuser and drying my hair, I walked out looking quite wet and disheveled. I understand that my hair is difficult and I do not expect everyone to know how to style it especially when they work mainly with fine hair, but when I called the salon I asked for someone who was familiar with mixed hair, because I know it takes a very specific skill set to deal with it. I was misinformed. This salon specializes in Caucasian hair and that's what they should claim. If you don't know how to do mixed hair, just say so. Honesty is better than misinformation that resulted in my walking out of the salon looking like a wet frizz ball. It was quite disappointing. I wish I had just went to an African American salon. Honestly. If you have Caucasian hair, this review is irrelevant, because the salon itself is very clean and pleasant. If you are biracial or have coarse curls, I would simply keep looking. It's not their expertise.
