  • Finally, FINALLY after being told that Village Ice Cream has the best ice cream in town, I finally made it over to try some. The selection was not what I was expecting. They had about ten flavours to choose from. But you know what? The flavours all looked awesome. They covered the basics with vanilla and chocolate, but they also had some interesting ones like huckleberry and cardamom. They also had ice cream sandwhiches and caramel corn for sale. Decisions, decisions! On another note, the employees weren't exactly enthusiastic to help me. But they were helpful enough. We'll blame it on the weather this time. My friend and I took a pint of salted caramel and a pint of cardamom to go. I was blown away. By both. Absolutely blown away. Their ice cream is super creamy but not heavy. And I never thought I'd say this about an ice cream, but it's ridiculously satisfying. The idea of cardamom ice cream kind of scared me initially, but after trying it, I'll be back for more... within the week! I agree with the fans who encouraged me to try Village Ice Cream- best in town!
