  • Carlos was the technician and called me about 5 minutes before he arrived. They are literally 2 miles from my home. He sprayed WD-40 over the door rollers/hinges from about 3 ft away though?? I don't know how much of it actually got into the bearings, mostly on the outside and the door. It kinda made a bit of a mess but pretty minor. Something he did I never knew, he sprayed a big dose of WD-40 on the tensioner spring too. I prepurchased the garage door opener before I found Smokey's. They have a price of $150 to install/remove your openers and less if you buy theirs. That figures. I just can't do ladders and small hand tools anymore and I trusted them because of all the 5 ratings on every site I visited (Google, etc) But all-in-all, Carlos was on time, polite, answered his cell, and knew what he was doing. He hauled away the 16 yr old opener too. I would use them again for my garage door needs.
